What Is VacciCheck?

VacciCheck is an innovative in-clinic titer test kit that measures antibody levels in dogs and cats to determine immunity to core vaccine diseases.

For dogs, it tests for:

  • Canine Distemper Virus (CDV)
  • Canine Parvovirus (CPV)
  • Canine Adenovirus (CAV/ICH)

For cats (in the U.S. & Canada):

  • Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPLV)

Watch our demonstration video to see how easy it is to implement VacciCheck in your clinic workflow and provide immediate, reliable results to your clients.

Veterinarians use VacciCheck to make evidence-based vaccination decisions — helping avoid over-vaccination while ensuring each pet stays protected.

Why Veterinarians Choose VacciCheck?

In-Clinic Results

Get accurate titer results in just 23 minutes without sending samples to an external lab. Streamline your workflow and provide immediate answers to pet owners.

Reduce Over-Vaccination

Eliminate unnecessary vaccinations by testing for existing immunity. Follow WSAVA and AAHA guidelines and provide personalized vaccination plans for each patient.

Meet Growing Client Expectations

Today's pet owners expect personalized, evidence-based care. VacciCheck's titer testing for dogs and cats builds trust by reducing unnecessary vaccines and supporting informed decisions.

Confirm Immunity in Puppies & Kittens

Ensure your youngest patients are fully protected after their initial vaccination series. Titer testing confirms successful immune response, helping you avoid gaps in protection and giving pet owners peace of mind.

Simple 3-Step Testing Process

ELISA-Based Technology

VacciCheck uses advanced ImmunoComb® ELISA technology to measure antibodies against core vaccines for dogs and cats — all in your clinic. Ideal for canine and feline vaccine verification.

Collect Sample

You only need 10 microliters of whole blood or 5 microliters of serum or plasma for the test.

Run the Test

A small blood sample is added to the test, moves through several steps, and shows a color result that indicates the pet's immunity level. For added efficiency and consistency, the process can be automated using Biogal's Robocomb+ device.

Read the Results

Compare the color of the sample spots to a reference scale or use the CombCam reader to easily see the pet's immunity level.

Includes training videos, visual reference cards, and full instructions. Our team is here to support setup in your clinic.

Frequently Asked Questions

VacciCheck has been validated against gold standard methods - virus neutralization (VN) and hemagglutination inhibition (HI) - demonstrating excellent correlation with 94–98% sensitivity and specificity. Its dot-ELISA technology delivers reliable results for clinical decision-making, offering a more practical and efficient alternative to sending samples to external laboratories.

VacciCheck has a shelf life of 15 months and should be stored at 2°C to 8°C.

We provide client education materials with your order. The key points to communicate: 1) Titer tests measure existing immunity, 2) They help avoid unnecessary vaccinations, 3) They're particularly valuable for pets with vaccine reactions or immune issues.

All necessary components are included in the VacciCheck kit and no additional equipment is required.

Currently, VacciCheck is not approved for rabies titers. However, it complements your protocol by covering core vaccines for dogs and cats, such as CDV, CPV, CAV, and FPLV (US and Canada only).
